Why this exists
MD-Universe is a network of verified physicians who share what they actually earn, what their employers are actually like, and what their contracts actually say. All of them were once where you are.
The problem with advice about becoming a doctor is that almost nobody giving it has anything to lose by being wrong. Admissions offices are selling seats. Rankings sell rankings. The people who know what the job is actually like are busy doing it, and by the time they could tell you they have forgotten what they did not know at your stage.
This site is written from the other end of the path. It will tell you when a decision matters and when it does not, what a step costs, and where the honest uncertainty is. Where we do not know something, it says so.
When you match, the other side opens
MD-Universe itself is a closed network of verified physicians — comp data reported by colleagues, employer and contract intelligence, vetted vendors, deal flow. You cannot join yet, because joining means an NPI. The day you have one, you can.
